What is the Rifle Exhibition Invitational? |
The Paperwork |
The Rifle Exhibition Invitational is an invite-only, fixed bayonet-only rifle exhibition competition designed to showcase the top tier of this activity to new audiences. The first iteration of this one-of-a-kind event will take place in Knoxville, Tennessee, as the invited guests of Pershing Rifles at their National Convention. It will also feature brand new scoresheets and an evaluating system that puts the focus back on the competitor's skill at their craft instead of off-the-competition field gaming.
What's Really Different?Relaxed uniform requirements with no direct uniform scoring. Penalty deductions for half of the points and subjective decisions for the other. Maximum of 2 categories graded by each evaluator. All experienced evaluators with training on their specific sheet. No report in or out. Competitor props will be weighed and announced to the crowd at the starting gate. Competitors will be announced on the competition floor with a short bio. Competitors will be given the same excellence that we expect them to put on for the audience.
